    De-cat!!!!!

    Wow!!!!!

Not really much more to say if I'm honest, best 40 quid I've spent on me ickle DTI, my hids arrived on Friday too, and my clutch and DMF (which was goosed after only 57k miles, causing the half of the clutch facing the DMF to shatter) done on Thursday, so by Monday I'll have a mean machine again, what with my new angel eyes too,
Safe to say I'm buzzing me **** and b0ll0cks off,

Also forgot to mention, my SRi interior is in, my skirt and lips are getting colour coded, and my facelift SRi steering wheel is being adapted, and I'm planning on having my alloys returned, then it's me stainless system and tuning box after Xmas, gerrup lads and lasses

The car is a he'll of a lot smoother throughout the rev range, the acceleration is 100% more responsive, if I accelerate hard now in first, it just spins in the dry.
I reckon I've got another 10-15 bhp, can't wait for my turbo back pipes and tuning box, I reckon it'll be good for 150+, watch this space

the only point in the cat is for reducing emissions, however we all know that diesels aren't tested for emissions in during the mot process. oh my cars back buddy, i waited for it, whilst it was done

I thought as far as insurance is concerned, removing the cat(s) completely is illegal and you have to have at least a racing cat in there? I might have got that wrong or maybe it's different from petrol cars. I have looked into it, would be nice to get rid of some of the lag low down. Is yours declared on insurance?

As stated diesels do not need a Cat, sport or regular. Insurance companies will not have a problem with it either as it's not illegal (obviously declare it though)
