    Default rear valance

    howdy.

    having got an LS i dont have an exhaust poking out of my rear bumper. i was wondering can i remove the lower part of my rear bumper and replace it with an SRI one? or is the whole bumper one piece? meaning id have to find an sri at a breakers?

    im sure you can get the bits for the rear valance to make it look like an sri one....I just cut a bit out when I fitted the sri back box.....

    oh right.. does the ls back box bolt on? or will i have to cut it off?
    im hopeing it will just be a bolt on bolt off jobbie.

    The Ls and SRi bumpers are completely different. If you want exhausts sticking out of your LS bumper, you will have to either cut the lower valence or replace the whole bumper with an SRi type one that has the inserts. You can't put the inserts on an LS bumper.

    oh ok. how about the exhaust? is the back box a bolt on?

    It is indeed.. a clamp on to the centre section..

    either that or get an extension welded onto your existing box..

    I don't know about pre 2005 sri models, but my rear bumper/skirt is one piece, only noticed when I fitted my vxr skirt

    so you might have to buy the whole bumper

    they come up on ebay now and again so keep your eyes open

    did this ,,,to my old LS...




    then got the SRI bumper and had Twins put on ,,,





    Sold the car to Pioneer, who has put FULL Leather seats, Induction kit,Full Blue smd lights and the best thing.....FOG LIGHTS....

    ALL ON A LS.....................

    that single pipe looks stunning (as does the twin) but for non SRi/GSi owners, thats a really good look!

    that looks the nuts. i just need to get the colour coded bits.

    armoured farmer, was that just a back box on the single pipe job? or was it a cat back jobbie?
