vectra c 2.0dti missing on certain revs

i had a problem with my vectra diesel missing while driving especially pulling away it would lose power for a second then pick up this had every garage baffled been on three computers and lasted about a year no one could find problem, tried new mass air meter you name it i tried it.anyway in the end i traced all fuel lines to source,took off tank and discovered a lot of gunge on fuel tank pick up filter cleaned this off and cleaned out tank.car now runs like new.hope this helps someone in same position as it cost a bit to put on computers for them to say no faults.
