    Default HELP !! Halfords

Bought a can of contact cleaner today and proceded to do all visable plugs including injector plugs, see if it would help with the poor mpg/judder, but i think there are other reasons for the mpg/performance most likely thermostat, went backinto the house and happend to glance at the recipt from halfords and it said spray grease rushed out and looked at the tin and it def says contact cleaner...... but underneath says. See pics, will this have caused any damage to the plugs, i'm not happy

See what other people say but if in doubt, nail polish remover and some cotton wool. Sorted.

    I pursonally wouldn't worry.
It is a bit like their version of WD40, which can also be used to lubricate and de-grease.

As said above, they have just included the spray within a "generic" category for ease of their stock control system.

As long as what it says on the tin, is what you want from the spray, then it should be fine.

my only worry would be if its been sprayed on a multi wire plug block will it cause a short, but I use WD on mine with no problems, if you are not happy I am sure wd will disolve this grease.
