    Default VXR rear splitter on an SRi - Wont Fit?

    I bought the VXR rear splitter for the dual exit on the vectra yet it doesn't ook like it will fit?

    Am i being a pleb?

    Im thinking you need to cut the side bits off?

    The side bits I cut off but they shouldn't be causing any problems. It will be the two 'legs' where the old splitter used to sit. I just hacked them off tbh.

    Can you take a pic of the back of the car m8 and post before you go cutting bits off? Don't want you cutting off the wrong bits.

    Forget the VXR valance - you don't need to mess with it - paint it.

    It should fit on ok, if not post up.

    On the bumper I found that there were two 'legs' (not on the valance) which got in the way so I lopped them off.

    I didn't cut anything off mine when I fitted it, just had to drill 2 holes (1 in each of the "wings" at the ends) so the plastic clips can be used to secure it.

    ahh, awesome..

    Well its painted up had a few coats and looks lushh

    So will leave a day or two to dry then lacquer it up.

    Should be on by next thursday
