    Default standard sri 17's

    i have very good set ov 215 45 17 bridgestone tyres will they be ok on standard vec c sri 17's ?

    The SRi 17's run 215/50/17 as standard but the 45's will fit fine. Most people 'upgrade' to the 45's anyway !! Also, pretty sure the 45's are a little cheaper aswell

    thanks mate that makes me happy. already have the tyres 2 with 8mil and 2 with 6.5mil rushed in a bit snatched them up at a great price but thought id be able to sell them on anyway if they didnt fit.

    No mate - you're thinking of 225/45, not 215/45. 225/45 are almost the same circumference as 215/50, whereas 215/45 will fit the wheel, but the circumference will be a little smaller.

    It means your speedo will be incorrect a bit, unless there's an option within tech2 to compensate.

    They will look really small and as said your speedo will be untrue. There is no option for this in tech 2, only 215/50 or 225/45
