    Default Exhaust options cdti sportex?

I have seen a lot of people go down the dual exhaust route, this just seems like a lot of money to me so I was wondering how easy it would be to just change the backbox? Is it welded on or just bolted on?

For example I was looking at a sportex box for around £100 just to give me a slightly deeper note.

Does anyone know what it will be likely to sound like?

Also I have an SRi lower surround so what sort of diameter pipe could I get?

As said, a back box alone on a CDTi isn't going to make much (if any) difference to the sound, CAT back with centre boxes removed is the best bet.

A cheap option could be a Powerflow (type place) to remove your centre box and weld on a new tail pipe.

Will mine have DPF? Its a 2004 cdti sri 150, manual

It's a shame you won't get any sort of noise from just a backbox. Perhaps you could do the sellers on ebay that makes claims it "gives a deeper tone"

I got the direct fit one for the vectra all you need is longer exhaust rubbers.
