Default Swirl Flap Stuck or Not Stuck ??

Last saturday I had warning light came on, car was still running fine.. op-com told me it was P1112 - Swirl Flap Stuck .. I cleared the warning.. And it hasnt come back on since.. Anything to be worried about?? Can it stick and then free itself and be fine thereafter?

Umm, no I havnt, umm, thats a bit of a job for me to take on I think.. Throttle body removal I guess ? Is it easy enough? I think I remember seeing a how2 or some instructions somewhere on here but cant seem to find it.. Even though the error code hasnt come back you reakon it should really be pulled apart and checked out? What could happen If it isnt checked?

Remove the plastic vanity cover for the engine, look down just behind the fuel rail you will see if the bar is off or not.

Is this for a CDTI 150??

If so I have pics showing you what is needed to check.. Let us know.

You can also test the swirl actuator movement via Op-Com
