    the vvt has the extra bhp due to variable valve timing.

    Is there a visual difference between the 2 (if so pickies would be good). Just been to look at one that was advertised as VVT but i'm not quiet sure.

    Yes the non vvt has a silver or black plastic engine cover, the VVT did not have a plastic engine cover at all.

    The first of the facelifts were non vvt, they even went into 2006 with the non vvt engine.
