    Default Turning tuning box down

Just thought I'd turn my box down 1 setting (down to 7 from a max of 8) and have not noticed any power loss?

The main reason for turning it down is for economy, but I really can't notice much if any difference, is it possible that my engine has been over fueling for this long without throwing any error up?

I have a diesel express box by the way

I don't think that you would notice that much difference if you ran it on the minimum setting to be honest, because even on the minimum setting most boxes are still way above standard. Try it.

Maybe on a rolling road you might see a difference, but on the road, probably not. And yes, it is entirely possible that you've been throwing fuel out of the exhaust pipe like it was going out of fashion. You won't get any codes for overfuelling because the ECU doesn't know that it is overfuelling.

I ran my V6 with a DTUK tuning box for a while. Tried all of the settings and from min to max there didn't seem to be much, if any, difference. It was obviously more powerfull with the box on, if not actually that much faster than when it was off for reasons that I am now more aware of.
