    Default CID project

The idea is to make use of the cid screen hijack the signal from original source to a cyclone III Nios processor (or an ARM with windows CE), then output to the screen.

    It can provide:
customized favourate color from original unit
parking sensor graphic distance display with reverse parking cam picture
    tpms display
all video source input including CVBS, composite, component
    car pc
    bluetooth digital stereo and handsfree
    and anything you like

It's just been started now, every progress will post here.

A good beginning is half done

Don't think there are too much differences, these screens are analog ones and can easily be interfaced.

I can now confirm the screen use analog RGB, which is compatible with SCART RGB.
Picture is the color bar generated by FPGA.

Then I bought a reverse camera, it's a NTSC color with parking distance (scale), but I don't like the scale bar at all, very ugly.... It's a OV7950 cmos sensor...
    Attachment 36386

To remove the parking scale, simply remove the SPI EEPROM from the chip, as follows: I will addin the scale (dymanic according to steering angle) later.
