Default Fancy having a go at the dash mod, but what first?

guys ive done soldering quite a bit in the past but never smds. i really want to do this mod but want to start small. so which section would be best(ie headlight switch/electric window switch?) if i try a small section at least its cheaper to buy a new part rather than the dash clocks lol. also for the section i do which smds would i do? and where to get them. thanks agian guys

I did heater controls first. Easy to remove, Not that many LED's to just change backlight. I'd use crazyleds. they do kits for most bits, failing that they'll probably be able to make them up.

try passenger window switch first, only 1 smd to replace, easy enough to remove and cheapest to replace if anything goes wrong

I know what you mean I bought my speedo leds from crazyleds.com and my heater controls from farnell.com and they're a slightly different colour. If i remember right the red is already a red LED and the Blue is already blue.
