    Default Trolley jacks reqd

Can any one recommend a decent two ton trolley jack that wont pack up like my last one after only a year ,
I bought a draper two ton jack from a local auto factors in june last year , it gave up the ghost fairly easily after only a year, so now looking for a new one , most of the ones on ebay are exactly the same as the draper one i had just painted a different colour and a different label stuck on :ie sealey, draper etc .
So has anyone come across one that will actually be any good i dont want to go for a three ton one because i dont have a garage and i live in a flat.
lugging a two ton up up and down the stairs is bad enough

Tough one this, as a 3 tonne jack is really what you need, but as you point out they're somewhat heavy. I used to use an RAC-branded 2 tonner, but it would squeal like a trapped pig when lifting one corner of an Omega, so switched to this 3 tonner:

(If you're car is lowered you'll struggle to get this jack underneath it though, unless you drive up over a brick or slab first).
