Default getting hacked off with lack of options....

I have a CD70 in my CDTI SRi, because i spend all day in the car (its my Taxi) i want:
    Ipod/Iphone functionality
    Bluetooth

BUT.......i don't want loads of additional screens and i would like to be able to control the Ipod from the steering controls.

I was incorrectly advised that the IO play would do this, it won't and i don't rate the whole functionality of the IO system.

So it looks like i have a couple of options...

    Parrot MKi9200

    Denison live link

Harman Kardon Drive and play 2

Now from what i can see the parrot and HK kit have additional screens/controllers, the Denison may do what i want it to do but i have no Bluetooth functionality.

The final option is to rip out the CD70 and fit something like a double din Sat/nav, Ipod, Bluetooth touch screen head unit, Kenwood do some decent ones the DNX5220BT is one i have had in an Omega before , but it then means that i lost the built in sat nav, this was one of the reasons i bought the car as i find it to be really good.

i know all of this sounds really fussy but i like my environment to be as clutter free as possible, hence the reason i don't want additional screens.

if there are any other suggestions as to what i can do please let me know....BTW selling the CD70 and screen is not one of them

Basic Parrot Mik9000 without a screen does bluetooth with a lead for connecting different devices such as ipod etc etc... also theres another unit you can plug into it which lets it be controlled from the steering wheel
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services

I was told that parrot kit has a separate amp and so works independently of the stereo, is that so?

When you use the ipod with the parrot do you use the ipod to choose the tracks etc or is that done on the parrot?

    TIA

and all of them are the same from what i know.

The only difference is the addition or exclusion of a screen and a firmware update.

I can make my non screen version a screen one with an update.
