    Default Retrofitting Xenons

Whats involved with this? After getting messed around by HIDs direct i've decided to go the whole hog and retro fit the genuine Xenons.

So far I know i'll need....both headlights, a new headlight control and the front/rear axle sensors. What else will I need?

John.I can understand you being pee'd off. However, this unfortunate situation could benefit us all in the end.If you do decide to go down this road, could you do a How 2 for us all?,as I'm pretty sure that once we know what is involved and the costs and degree of difficulties etc, there will be a lot of members wanting to do it. its dead easy to retrofit

once youve got the parts then its just the case of making the extra wiring
    harness then fit and programme

ive retro fited afl to 2 cars and zenons to 1 like the vxr has

    as easy as that really

    tech2 and hell of wiring

Im in the middel of doing that along side my power tailgate..

but if you just have the headlights, you have to check them for:

    Ballast
    Ignitor
    Bulbs
    Level motor.

    then you need
    Front and rear axel sensor
    Controlunit for levelsensors
    Wires to connect it all..

ive have the topones, not the level motor tho.

but there im awaiting the reply from Opel Denmark, about if the selfleveling suspension that they make are approved...

Otherwise if not, im getting a set from hella that does the same as selfleveling from VX/Opel.. just cheaper and easier to do

I have the tank and pump in place so it's just a case of getting the jets and tubing and getting it tech 2'd

There's a left hand one and right hand one for 80 quid each.

There is even a pair of facelift AFL's for 450 with the sensors and everything....maybe time to facelift

So are they the only parts I need Andy? Can you buy any of the wiring looms?

im not very certain about the parts you will need for a pre-facelift as im
sure theres an extra module on the pre facelift but the ones ive done were
facelift but im very positive it can be done on your pre facelift.

you cant buy any extra wiring looms at all so they have to be custom
made,i had to do that but i made the wiring going by the proper wiring
diagrams as if they were factory fitted.

But his was without the levelsensors i think to remember..

So he used the normal leveling as standard and added a extra ground wire.
