It's not just the amount that he gets paid - it's what he does to earn it that's ridiculous: kick a ball in the net. He's not curing cancer, nor hunting down terrorists...he's an entertainer. Crazy.

I fail to see how any footballer can be "worth" that sort of money. I like quite a LOT of people studdied and got qualifications and a trade. I for one would say I do more for the betterment of society. But don,t, and will Never get anywhere near that obscene amount of money. I think it is totaly disgracefull that they are paid so much.

I agree with most said however when 82000 people turn up to watch you at work each week plus millions more on tv How much would you want there wont be many people here that have said now to a new contract increasing your wages, also Man utd want him on a massive contract as it make him a bigger asset when someone wants to buy him.
