Default Twin exhaust on 1.9CDTI SRI?

    Hi Guys,

I have a 1.9CDTI Facelift vectra SRI, this has the single chrome exhaust on the N/S.

I looked under the back bumper and there are hooks/mounting points for another exhaust on the other side, i imagine theses are for the 3.0CDTI Version of this vectra.

So if these hooks are there, is it easy to convert my exhaust into a twin (one each side like the 3.0CDTI)

    Cheers.

    Yes...

You need the y piece adapter for the pipe, another backbox (Obvs) and to sort the reat bumper, which is (as far as im aware) just a new insert (the light coloured plastic bit).

you need another back box for righthand side, the one from the 2.2 direct is perfect for it, a 'Y' piece to split your existing exhaust and also a new rear valance for bumper with 2 exits on, most people replace it with a VXR one as its actually cheaper than the standard SRI one

No, not the whole valance, just the middle section where the exhaust cut out(s) are

hi,i have the same model 1.9 cdti/sri . had a y piece welded in ,just behind back axel.then two pipes to each side with vxr tips. all in stainless ( no silencers ,no more noise ) £220 all in fitted. fitted the vxr rear insert ( £40 ish )and colour coded it. the sri insert is a tw$t to remove, i cut the lugs of from behind . waste of money having two rear silencers on a diesel. hawleys garage in sheffield can make any custom exhaust.
