    Default HID shadow

    does anybody elese have this prob with there hids

    my hids seem to have a shadow on them , i mean whenthere turned on there sems to be 2 shadows in the light patten (1 on each side) i think there 55w 6000k any ideas? because they dont seem to look like others on here


    just seen other members lights post 16 second picture, can you see the 2 shadows in the beam of light, thats what i mean .

    Good job i read on its been about 12 months now my hids have been like this and everytime i look at them i always think the same the shadow is ****in me off now i know the fix cheers

    can the bulb turn with out taking the metel clip off that holds the bulb in place , reason i ask i had trouble putting them clips on

    just tried to turn the bulbs around, **** me its ****ing me off, a simple job is turning into taking the bumper off and doing it that way again, ive also droped the ****** holder that holds the bulb, (good job i aint gonna be using the car this week) while the bumpers off i might as well fit new horns

    is this a joke with price? i wouldnt pay no more than a couple of quid for them

    I agree with that. Does anyone know if these available as a part from the dealers? Would make it easier having a spare set for changing bulbs.

    not avaliable from dealers..

    but that one is actually more expencive than here.. where its £5.5 here..

    mines droped down somehwere, ill have a look tuesday, these clamps dont fit right tho imo

    I've found it's better to cut the original clips. Those ebay ones have too much of a gap and start to deform when you try fitting them.

    If you cut the originals they still fit perfectly if you revert back to the old setup

    nice one john just found then in my hids box. john wich part do you cut? the smaller part or the bigger part? if you know what i mean or dont it make any difference
