difference in gearsticks?

just bought a gearstick from the scrapyard off a 2.0 dti2004 plate.. it came off quite easy was a clip holding itin place..

got home to my 2003 2.2 sri and it is totally different! mine has 4 tork screws keeping the harness in place and the connections to the ball joints are different too... any help please? i thought with them both being vectra c diesels they wud be the same clearly not!..

The 2.0 dti and 2.2 petrol share the same gearstick

The 2.2dti shares with the 3.2v6 petrol

hi guys do u know where i can get a 6 speed gear knob for an 05 vectra sri 1.9 150 brake,got a price from my local vauxhall dealer £192.26 then the vat.................................have put it on my santa letter but not holding my breath
