simple answer yes
It also reads and displays the MP3 tags for each song and treats sub-directories as albums.
CD70's can be a little niggly as to "format" of the mp3 filing.
There are others on here who are more technical at explaining this,
Something with how the ID3 tagging is attached to the mp3 file.... I think.
I'm sure there is a How 2 thread on here somewhere.
Windows mp3 discs are not as reliable as say itune compiled discs.
I use another file system / program, but as I say Windows media player is very hit or miss.
No problem at all using Nero to burn MP3 cd's. They call it 'CD Jukebox'. As for the details coming up on the display for all tracks and album titles, it is a question of making sure that the option is set to treat each track as a separate item, which Nero calls 'Reference Strategy'. As Jimbojetset says each album is added as a folder and Nero does the rest.
Windows Media Player is very 'hit and miss', and has an annoying tendency to alter the track order, which is not what you want, and has no specific utility to burn M3 cd's as albums, only as separate tracks.
I must just be lucky with this.
Mostly used windows and had no problems.
All tracks and albums listed and in correct order and didn't have to change any settings in window media.
Have also used itunes, ashampoo and roxio and get same results.
I seem to be hopeless at this - I save my songs as AAC in Itunes but when burned to data disc I get disc invalid. If I make MP3 version and then burn as MP3 I can get MP3 to work in Signum but no track data or individual cd titles.
