Default water in my headlights...preface lift

is it common for this to happen, noticed some in my fogs aswell!

do they leak in a particular place, or is it a job of taking out the headlight and smeering silicon where the lense fits the plastic?

any help would be great lads!

    Both fogs?

You could try drying them out and then place a couple of those silica packs in each one to absorb the moisture.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

With the foglight it's usually just the N/S that mists up, caused by putting too much water into the windscreen washer bottle, and when it overflows it gets into the foglight. For the headlights, are the plastic or rubber caps at the back of the light fitted securely? If they're missing, then water definately gets in.

This is a known issue with the headlights on a prefacelift. The plastic covers on the back don't seal very well and allow moisture in. To cure it take the lights out and dry them out with a hairdryer. Then put 4 or so of those small silica gel bags inside each of the headlamps. Since I've done this, mine have been fine!
