    In engine 2.2 direct:
Is it good to fit a turbo kit?
Will this pass without problems or i need to change cams,pistons,etc..?
What is the range of power gain with which psi?

Any1 can give spec of 2.2 direct and indirect?

If I think back to my 2.2 astra coupe days I looked at turbo charging this.

If you look at Courtaney motorsport they do a 2.2 supercharging system.

I gave it a miss in the end but with enough money it can be done.

Prob better off buying a 2.0T though tbh

    below taken from Courtaney site:

Astra G 2.2 16v Supercharger Conversion - Price from £5995.00. 240+ bhp and 230+ lb ft torque. Requires Full Sports Exhaust System (we have used a 2.5" system from manifold to the tailbox with the pre-cat removed on our car).

And for that money, you could BUY a 2.0T and stage three it to about 240bhp...

To answer your other question, the default power output of the 2.2's is:

    Indirect: 143bhp
    Direct: 155bhp

You can't do it with the direct as you would have to change the inlet manifold and you cant change it on the direct. The NET's turbo, and both manifolds will bolt straight on to the none direct however so all you'd have to look at is a place to map it. The stock internals are fine at that power as well.

Supercharging the 2.2 is best and sounds the business. Around the same price as a turbo conversion and will actually improve fuel economy (When driving it nicely!)

    thanks alot fo ur reply..
I think of 2.2 direct engine + turbo kit for 2 reasons:
1- 2.2 is the most engine i can find its spare parts here in egypt as 2.0T seems to be very rare..
2- i cant find any1 to fit a supercharger for me here in egypt, all i can find is to fit a turbo kit but not the original NET another costum made one, can I?
