    Default CDTi fuel filter connector

    There is an electrical connector on the top and the bottom of the fuel filter housing on the 1.9 CDTi (150) - what exactly do they do? The bottom one was disconnected... and probably that way for quite some time!

    mine on my 2.0 dti on the top was off i just pluged it back in

    yeah mine got plugged back in but just wanted to know if it would affect anything and what exactly gets 'monitored' or powered by these connectors?

    Top connector is the heater connection and bottom one is the water level sensor.
