Default fitting IO play in a SRI nav

I have the IO unit along with the SOT-1225 lead for the car, it has the CD70 Nav system.

Wired it all in, powerd up the IO unit, went to make a call and there is a speaker still working, its the one in the centre of the dash down by the window

No matter how i wire the mute lead i cant get it to shut up, any ideas?

Well when the iPod or phone is operational this speaker is still takin it's feed from an alternative source (the CD70)
Ideally I would like it to work as it should do, I.e. Phone call comes in, radio mutes and sound comes through all speakers

i've been working tonight, between fartes i have been playing about with the system....

I have come to the conclusion that i must have wired this in incorrectly, however the SOT kit came with no instructions so i have fitted it blind.

Is there a Muts lead on the back of the multiplug that goes into the back of the CD70? if so what colour is it?
I believe that if this is connected then it will mute the system.

My other question is.....when a call comes in should the display on the dash change to denote that there is an Aux input interrupting the sound?

If the answer to this is yes then the IO kit id certainly in incorrectly as it appears to be operating independently of the stereo.

Any help on this would be most appreciated

Should show AUX Input on the screen... I'll see if I can find my pictures of when I installed my Parrot.
