Insurance really is a funny old game....

I've been thinking about buying a little toy for travelling back a forth to work and doing the odd track day. Now having diesel tuning in the blood I thought about a little TD Nova.

I've heard that they can be tuned pretty well and would be a bit of fun on a track day and also cheap to run. So I did an insurance quote for a Nova and it cam up with.....450 quid!

Now if you consider I have no NCB for it, I had a fault claim 2 years ago and I am 24 that is an excellent price. So just for fun I quoted an XR2i of around the same age and the price was.....£475!!!!!!

So no guessing what i'll be on the lookout for now

Reckon the insurance will be a bit more than another extra 25 quid for that

Thats a bit steep mate, Nova 1.5td's are rapid cars without mods. Hard to find a nova that the arse aint rotted out of it nowadays.
