    Default Park Pilot Control Unit

Does anybody know if the SAAB control unit is compatible with the Vectra, just seen this one on eBay and although it looks exactly the same just wondered if it would be compatible?

All i know is that the Vectra shares some componets with the Saab (not sure on edition tho)

but that looks the same to me.

Physically, it looks identical, down to the clips that hold it to the REC as mine, I can take some pics of it if needed although of course nothing guarantees the insides are the same. Chances are good though that both manufacturers just used the same parts from Bosch.

Well even though it looks the same, it looks as if the firmware is different, Tech 2 will recognise it and tell me the ECU info but won't allow me access to the ECU to program the unit.

I thought you just had to program the car to recognise the unit
