I had a de-catted Powerflow centre with 2 VXR back boxes. It made the turbo more audiable but at high speed it was just loud, noise was annoying. Had large centre box fitted and now far happier. In my experience with my CDTi there is no exhaust note to be had.

Your no longer a paid up member so you have lost it.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Sounds like it is fairly pointless getting one then lol was it anything like a petrol with an stainless exhaust?

V6 sounds reasonable with full exhaust system removed by all accounts.

Just not a patch on a V engined petrol car.

I also prefer the relative silence of the V6 when accelerating. It feels like you're being pulled forwards rather than being propelled by an engine. If only the gearing was a bit higher.

No comparison to a petrol in anyway, only done for twin exit and durability. As the Powerflow box's are straight through you do get a nice turbo whistle.....thats it. Otherwise sounds bog standard.
