whats underneath this?

wanna take this cover off to powdercoat it or paint it but if i take it off whats underneath or what should i look out for etc etc,

I believe its just a cover between the banks. I don't think (!) it is part of the plenum chamber.

there aint much its just the inlet, there is a couple of flaps you need to fiddle with to get it back on but pretty simple to do. it will be really oily under there but just give it a clean.

if you take it off then you will need to remember which bolts go where as they are all different sizes, i had this problem and sheared a few threads as they were too long for the hole.
