    Default Ford 1300 1995 Engine

Anyone know if this is a crossflow engine?

Trying to find out some info on it. It is in an Escort 1.3 Petrol with the ol' pushrod engine. 8v engine and just need to know if it is a Crossflow engine or something else?

Is it not a CVH engine, I think the KA was the only one to keep the crossflow, could be wrong though ?

Don't think it is a X-flow as i think they were abandoned in the 80's, may be wrong

Have a look at the rocker cover, if it's quite wide then it will be a CVH, if it's quite a narrow one, then it is the OHV pushrod.

Been quite a while since I worked at a Ford dealer....

Yep quite a narrow one. Engine sounds like an ol' pushrod. But quite a solid little engine.

For the bro in law you see just trying to identify what is in there

They are all cross flow but i think you want the old "Kent" engine not the CVH you may find this is the one you are after as ford used this engine in 1.3 and 1.4 alongside the CVH in the escorts and fiesta's and also used it in the KA there is also a 1.6 version about in the sport ka and street ka HTH

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!
