Ever since I bought my Vec in May 2010 (which I love BTW) I have had an intermittent problem which I put up with but it does bother me, hence the post.
Sometimes, weather warm or cold when pulling off in 1st gear i have a sudden power train for about a second or two (Feels like the throttle has no affect) then the revs kick up to about 2,000 rpm and I can pull away.
As I say it does not happen alot but when at the front of the queue at a round about its not a nice expereince.
I also noticed the other day that if I stand outside of the car with the bonnet up then rev the car slightly I hear a whoosh of air before the revs kick in. Happens everytime. Is this normal?
Any help or advice would be apprectiated.
