going to have a look at taking them apart to fit a front vent chrome wheel then thought vx would be cheap skates and not bother with the rears

do the facelift vents just fit straight in a preface dash with the surround? or did you swap the wheels over to your ould vents?

i was told the surrounds are different shapes, wouldnt mind a set with chrome wheels on myself, my dads has got them and mine looks so cheap in comparison lol...

The surrounds are different shapes, but the mechanism's behind them aren't. You just pop them out of the facelift surrounds and into the preface ones.

It can be a pain to remove the chrome wheels as the plastic is pretty brittle. Why do you want to take them out

It'll be from a preface meaning you'll need to change the whole surround. The preface cars have sharper corners on the surround
