    confused Losing power*

    Hi guys I went to the remap day today an got my car on the rollers to find out my car isn't boosting properly on my print out the guy said at 5000 rpm my bhp and torque drop a lot any ideas as I had an error come up and went into limp mode thanks to vectraturbocal I managed to borrow his actuator censer and managed to gain 10bhp 33 extra torque but still had a problem the re map guy said try to find the fault an fix for next Sunday an will try again bit gutted *

    there is no splits in any pipes or out is there mate
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    No but have a dump valve fitted I have no idea If that could be why

    The torque and bhp always "drop a lot" on turbo diesels after about 4000rpms.

    Remove dump valve.

    oops! got diesel on brain today (engine breather mod underway). LOL

    Try replacing the charged air bypass valve (just left of the turbo), and a similar looking valve at the front of the engine, just left of the throttle body. They're about £12 each.

    its a pain when you know theres a fault but cant find it, cant your mate help you from vaux?

    For the record, BHP should stay the same between 5000 and 6000 RPM, whereas torque drops from 250 NM at 5000 RPM to 210 NM at 6000.

    We changed the one at the side borrowed vectraturbocal's an made a little difference but still went in safe mode so gonna try changing them both tomoz now an if that don't work it's back to square one
