Default SAAB have a deal with BMW

Since GM lost interest and sold SAAB they have ditched the GM motors and have done a deal to use the BMW power plants.

Seems they will have some decent motors in their line up. Yes some gave issues but you can hardly mock them given the GM power plants if late.

Wonder if they will get the V8's????
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Let's not get carried away with the scope of the deal, lol. Currently it's just for supply of one model of engine, the 1.6 from the Mini, although Saab also say they're interested in sharing a platform for their future 9-2.

Makes you wonder what else they will use as most if their engines are GM at present. What else can they use apart from their current range?
