    Default Rear Fog light

Hello,my dashboard display indicates that nearside fog light not working and indeed the rear one is not, but the bulb is fine and works on other side. Not really an issue as never use fogs but it is annoying to have warning keep coming up. Any ideas as to what problem is?

You will find the offside is near the end of its life; the nearside isn't actually wired up!
Therefore swap the nearside into the offside and throw the current offside one away

a strange one,, as I thought the nearside Rear fog ALTHOUGH fitted is not wired up for UK cars, is your car an import?

though there is a "How To" to wire both up, standard only drivers side should work.

Thanks for all replies. As I said not really an issue except, that recently--after driving around for months with no problem--there is this alert on the display every time I start up which get rid of by pressing the appropriate knob, but cannot get rid if the much smaller warning indicator between speedo and rev counter.
    Regards and thanks again.
