How do you remove the centre console?

Any guides how to remove the centre console as I want to fit a USB charging socket inside the arm rest.

Remove the cup holder (with the sliding lid) You'll see a Torx screw, undo it.

At the back of the Centre Console, remove the rear ash tray/12v socket and surround. You'll see 4 torx bolts, undo those (you'll need to release the handbrake to get to one).

You can then remove the arm rest, If you need to remove the whole centre console,pull it back towards the rear of the car. You'll need to manipulate it around the handbrake handle. It's fiddly, but do able with sliding the front seats about.
