    Default Part Prices

    Hi again,

My motor, 07 Vectra CDTi 150, coming up to 80k so Im goin give her a good service. I got some prices for a few parts at the local shop today.
Dont think the prices are too bad.

    Timing Belt Kit - £80+vat
    Water Pump - £32+vat
    Oil Filter - £7+vat
    Fuel Filter - £14+vat
    Air Filter - £7.23+vat
Gallon of Oil - £22 inc vat

Just wondering should I put on Genuine Vauxhall Timing Belt Kit or would there really be much difference?

Are these parts from the dealers ?
And i would also go main dealer for the belt kit,or a gates cambelt kit.
I just had my car serviced at the dealers, but i supplied the parts from their trade club book for them to fit.
    Oil Filter - £7+vat = i paid - 6.17 +
    Fuel Filter - £14+vat - 15.85 +
    Air Filter - £7.23+vat - 5.53 +
Gallon of Oil - £22 inc vat -16.70 + fully synth.

Hi, the prices i got were from an autoparts store.I havent priced parts at vauxhall dealers yet, but will do. Whats this about "trade club Book". Is that for trade customers only?
