Default 2.0 Dti Wont Start After EGR/Manifold Clean

Hi can anyone help. I took out my EGR valve and the the manifold. Cleaned them out put them back, tried starting the car and it just wont start. I checked that all the bolts were on tight and they are. When im turning the engine it sounds odd like theres no fuel coming through, hard to describe. I tried loosening the last fuel pipe, turned it over to see if fuel came out and incase if there was an airlock. Fuel came out but still doesnt start. Would the car not start if ive somehow screwed up the EGR valve??? Can anyone help????

Strange!, try disconnecting the temprature sensor wire/connector, this will force the glow plugs on, it may just give it enough help to start!, if not ????, then go back over & double/double check everything youv'e touched.

Havent located the sensor yet, but tried turning the engine over again. It sounded like it was almost going to start but didnt. Gave it a minute, turned it over again and it just wouldnt catch, not even a sign, it sounds really odd.

Make sure the fuel filter is full, crack the top union nuts at each injector while cranking the engine, and i'm sure it will catch,if no luck that way, last resort is easy start in the intake,i.e egr intake.
And the temp sensor is on the thermostat housing, its the one with a plug on it,not a single connector.

Its been a while since i had to do this,as far as i remember you can un-crack the top union nuts with the leak off pipe in place, just do one at a time until fuel comes through, and lock the nut back up,and move on to the next one.

Try this , get somebody to tow you and try and bump start it. Or why you try and start it put your foot on the acc pedal to the floor. I never had this prob tho with my 2.0dti . Is the egr connector connected? I would try a bump start tho
