    Vehicle : Honda Civic

Trim : ES with Honda Image and City Packs

    Engine : 1.8 iVtec

    Year : 2009

    Mileage : 85000

    Thumbs up

Well I have to start by saying I LOVE MY hTC Desire!!!! But apparently the HD2 is even better.
Battery life suxs, in fairness it has got a bit better as time has gone on but from what I can gather all smart fones, iphone included have poor battery life.
Another good thing about the hTC is Market place, that's the android version of Apples iStore. Unlike its apple cousin you do not need to input debit/credit card details even if you want the free apps, off which there i plenty to chose from. Internet is lightening fast on the desire too, have no complaints there, its just like using your home laptop/pc.
Only downside I can see between the Desire and the HD2 is that the HD2 is a bit bigger and you may find you carry it rather than put it in your pocket, but I guess bigger screen mean a better a browsing experience.

hTC all the way for me.

All I want from a phone is to store friends numbers, make phone calls and send texts. I just want a decent battery life and good signal on mine, as if I break down anywhere I can't walk far.

I wouldnt get any of those phones, i upgraded to an iphone 4 when i renewed my contract and it was useless - it constantly lost its connection, software crashed etc,i hated it that much i sent it back after 3 days and got the samsung galaxy s which seems to work flawlessley.

The htc hd2 is worth avoiding aswell as my wifes just died in the middle of a text message and had to go away for repair - ended up it needed a new motherboard, not bad for a 3 month old phone.

A mate has the desire and he rates it highly but my faith in htc is gone so i wouldnt recommend htc to anyone

I have the HTC Wildfire and it is a great phone (battery life is good, internet fast, phone calls very clear, not lost reception in the 3 weeks I have own it, no marks or damaged after dropping it twice)
Your choices are abit outside what I wanted to spend, but I had a good play with the top 3.
The screen is better on the iphone.
The HTC felt better built/solid and I liked the interface more.It also looks and feels more manly and less of a toy (a bit more business like) but then again maybe less fun.
I guess alot of it comes down to what you will mostly use it for.
It you want to spend less I recommend you looking at the Wildfire.
Out of your 4 I would choose the Desire
And I have agree with Dazzy if you can afford the samsung galaxy is very nice

I turn wi-fi off and use 3g , wifi is the biggest drain on battery for every mobile phone as far as I can make out.
I have used wifi and it is a little quicker then 3g but not so much faster that it bothers me.
