Is there a how 2 on how to clean this, I need to give it a go, it looks like its secured by 3 bolts and I need to remove the link pipe to the throttle body but is there anything else?

Have a look in the 'how 2' section, if the 120 isn't covered the 150 is very similar.
Thanks I should have I said I already searched the how to but I'll look for the 150
The valve is boltet to engine with 3 bolt. Under egr you need to take out two bolt who keep the pipe from exhaust. Its also a pipe on the right side of the egr bolted with two screw. If I remember correct you need spanner Ø 13 for the bolts to the engine and umbrako 6 for the pipes.
13mm for the 3 bolts and a 6mm hex drive for the 2 pipes.
Due to the routing of the pipes the 6mm drive needs to be fairly long.
I hacksawed the angled bit off a 6mm allen key and inserted the longer piece into a 1/4 drive 6mm socket. This allows easier access.
Make sure the end of the 6mm drive isn't worn as the bolts are fairly soft and Vx need to order them in.
There are 2 oval gaskets where the pipes join the EGR make sure you dont drop these as you remove the EGR.
Best to replace them as they are only a few pounds each and are stocked.
With the EGR off good idea to remove the boost sensor and give it a clean, there is a how 2 for thisd, exactly the same for 120 & 150.
If you've the time get a gasket for the throttle body, remove that and clean the end of the inlet manifold, this is where the gasses from the EGR flow into the inlet system. It gets very gunked up, have a look at the throttle body repair How 2 for info on removal.
