Default Lowering springs for a GSi?

Looking to get a few things done to my GSi, Induction kit on order, looking to get a custom made de-cat back system and some new wheels but looking to get the car lowered with springs only.

Going from the standard wheels to 18's but wondering which are the best springs to go for?

    Any ideas?

The best ones that money can buy are the Eibach ones, many others have fitted cheaper springs but even they have been known to snap. Eibach also make the Irmscher springs under license. Only difference is the colour an price

Well after having problems with my coilovers on my GSi alot of people on here were suggesting PI or Eibach, as i have had a set of Eibach's on a V6 Audi A4 and didn't notice any difference in height or improved handling i have now gone for the PI 45mm kit.

On another note ref your plans on an exhaust if your going to get a custom one done get it de catted as well, you can run the 3.2 on the 2 pre cats and it will still pass the mot. Mine with full MIJ exhaust and de cat plus a K&N panel filter has 11 bhp more than standard (standard 208bhp mine is 219bhp) and thats on standard Sainsburys unleaded.
