Default Vectra Serviced today but another problem

Well had the vectra serviced today ready for mot at end of next week and found out brake pipes from front to rear are all corroded

Been quoted £120 to have them all replaced, does that price sound about right?

I had the front to rear pipes replaced on my mondeo last year by an independent garage and it cost £75 in parts, so £120 fitted doesn't sound too bad to me.

Yeah thats a good price, the offside one is fairly straight forward but the nearside one goes over the fuel tank and is an absolute pig to do.

I've read a few threads recently and that's the main reason i'm giving it to a garage besides i dont own a flaring tool anyway.

I think mine may have been one of the first to have the pipes done, I had a fail on the front to rear ones 2 years ago and advisories on the fronts. Did the front to rear ones for the MOT and the front ones 6 months later.

In the past few years i've had 3 out of 4 cars need new brake pipes, disks and pads.

Well make sure you get the car back on his lift and get them sealed off if he hasn't already done it, so your not spending another £200 odd quid.
Mine were checked yesterday, thankfully and suprisingly they were immaculate, but I had them sealed nevertheless, thats £200 quid i can spend on sommet else me thinks....
