um id have to say why 1st??? but anyway id say you would need to make your own set up for these like make a bracket that comes off the bumper or the crash bar (think it called that) and go from there but id say it was a costom job as iv never seen anyone with theses
Yip You will need to get brackets made that go through slots that would need cutting in the bumper skin and mounted to the crash bar. Then however it will be sitting right in front of the air intake for the engine so as well as the aerodynamic losses the engine will be drawing air in a low pressure pocket at the leading edge of the bonnet.
Why????? I have to ask,,,,,,
If you want extra main beam light, then yep, make up a proper bracket mounted to the chassis (i.e not the grille or bumper)
A good HID kit will give you a decent result on dipped beam.
hids first m8 there the best Ģ60 iv ever spent on my car
edit scratch that maybe the 2nd
hes from sweden, its probably so he can see an elk half a mile up the road. looks ok in a rally car sort of way.
ooh haven't had spot lights since my mk1 fiesta super sport
Well i know they make bracket for that sort of mounting, that just screw in together with the numberplate. But that would fit them below the numberplate, not above..
(that what we call swedishlights here in denmark... (well it has to be 3 extra lights tho...)
Eg. like this http://www.speedparts.se/index.html?...jarrljus.shtml
I know you can get som universal brackets in sweden for them (also in Denmark, so you dont have to drill your bumper)
maby i should get me a set when going to sweden again.. driving on swedish contry road.
Why? i drive a lot on narrow forest roads (in sweden), and in the winter, daylight is pretty much gone after november when going to and from work..
supposedly there are custom brackets from opel that are fitted behind the number plate somehow, onthe outside of the bumper, But the universal brackets also work that way...
the mechanical side is straightforward, but i wonder what happens when i connect a relay input in parallel with the headlight, will i get a bulb fault ?
