Default Movement when I hold front n/s wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock and rock

    Hi all,

As in the title, I have a small but noticable amount of movement in the front n/s wheel when I hold it at 3 and 9 o'clock and rock (no movement when repeated holding at 12 and 6 o'clock). I've had the wheel off and there doesn't look like there's any movement at the track rod end... any ideas what to look at next???

MOT's coming up soon and I'm assuming this will be a fail...

    ...oh, and its a 52 plate 1.8LS Vectra C.

Probably play in the inner joint of the tie rod an easy job and about £30 from the dealers.
