    Vehicle : Insignia Grand Sport

    Trim : SRI VX-LINE NAV

    Engine : 1.5T (165)

    Year : 2018

    Mileage : 37000

    Default

From the 'Main' screen showing Range and MPG press your left steering-wheel scroll wheel (or the big round knob on the stereo) That will take you to the first BC screen, and if you scroll down and click you will get the second BC screen, once more and you will get the Timer screen. On each of the three screens, you can select a 'Reset' option to reset the figures by scrolling up/down and clicking on the left steering wheel scroll wheel or by turning the big centre knob on the stereo and pressing it,. There are two trip computers on the Vectra facelift called BC1 and BC2

    Hope that makes sense

    Or you could RTFM LOL

I assume you have a CD30 unit, not a CD70 which I have as mine has Sat Nav, but I still think you just need to either press the left scroll wheel from the screen that shows your Range and Instantaneous MPG, which will take you into the BC screen which displays the first Trip Computer called BC1, and if you push the same button up and down in that screen you will be able to either Reset the figures on that screen or Exit from that screen back to the previous screen or move to the second Trip Computer called BC2 or to the Timer Screen, where you can also reset the figures on those screens.

I just fiddled around with it when I got the car and worked out how to do it all by scrolling the left button on the steering wheel up and down and pressing the button to select a screen or reset the figures on that screen.

'RTFM' is a something used quite often on here - It means ' Read the ****** Manual!' and is always meant in a jokey way, not telling someone what to do or having a go at them.

I've always found that trial and error is quicker than trawling through the manual.

I would be more than happy to go through it with you in person as would anyone else on here.

The CD30 is different from the CD70. Sorry didn't realise that.

Anyway I have just RTFM. LOL

Here's what you need (from TFM):-

    Instruments
    Board information display, trip computer
The trip computer provides information on driving data, which is continually recorded and evaluated electronically.
Access trip computer vehicle data by pressing the BC button on the infotainment system or the left adjuster wheel on the steering wheel.

Some information appears in the display in an abbreviated form.
Once an audio function has been selected, the subsequent rows of the trip computer function are displayed.
The functions are displayed in the following order:
    Instantaneous consumption
    Average consumption
    Effective consumption
    Average speed
    Distance travelled
    Range
    Stop watch
    Instantaneous consumption
    Display changes depending on speed:
    Display in gal/h below 8 mph (13 km/h),
Display in mpg below 8 mph (13 km/h).

    Average consumption
    Display of average consumption.
Calculation can be restarted at any time - see next page.
    Effective consumption
    Fuel consumption display.
The measurement can be restarted at any time - see next page.
    Average speed
Display of average speed. Calculation can be restarted at any time - see next page.
Stoppages in the journey with the ignition off are not included in the calculations.
    Distance travelled
Display of mileage. Calculation can be restarted at any time - see next page.
    11:25} 21.5°C
    Range
Range is calculated from current fuel tank content and instantaneous consumption.
    The display shows average values.
After refuelling, the vehicle updates the range automatically after a brief delay.
If less than 30 miles (50 km) can be driven with the fuel remaining in the tank, the warning "Range" appears on the display.
If less than 20 miles (30 km) can be driven with the fuel remaining in the tank, the warning "Refuel!" appears on the
    display.
    Stop watch
    Operation with the four-way button:

    Press right button Start/Stop,
Press left button for more than 2 seconds
Reset Operating using the left adjuster wheel on the steering wheel:
    Press Start/Stop.
    Resetting trip computer information
The following trip computer information can be reset (restart of measurement/calculation):
    Average consumption,
    Effective consumption,
    Average speed,
    Distance travelled.
Select the desired trip computer information.
Reset using the left wheel on the steering wheel or the right/left button of the four-way button:
Press for more than 2 seconds current value
Press for more than 4 seconds all values.

    Interruption of power supply
If the power supply has been interrupted or if the battery voltage has dropped too low, the values stored in the trip computer will be lost.
    11:25} 21.5°C
    Selecting functions
The functions and settings of some equipment can be accessed via the graphical information display.
Functions are selected and executed in the menu on the display using the four-way button, or the left wheel on
    the steering wheel.

    To select with four-way button:
Select menu items via menus and with the buttons/four-way button of the infotainment system.
If check control warning messages are displayed, the display is blocked for other functions.
Acknowledge warning message by pressing the right or left side of the four-way button. If there are several warning messages, acknowledge them one at a time.

    Hope that helps, mate.
