You can get away without taking the bumper off on preface. Just fix the ballast on the drivers side to the inner wing next to the air filter and the passenger side one in the battery box.

No they are not Illegal, well sort of not illegal
    Very easy to fit
Easily 75% better than normal, and if you get the 50w ones id say they are 100% better.

Cancellers stop the dash board error because of the built in bulb check

But on the drivers side it's so easier to take the air box out.Like I said in a post in a similar thread,it's so easy it's a laugh,(I zip tied my ballast to the air box ducting).
The hardest part for me was fitting the bulb holders!!. FELIXX.

Thanks for all your replys, most helpful will be installing at the weekend, ive read loads of post saying they are illegalbut as long as the beam pattern is correct your car will pass its mot, ie projector lenses which the vectra c has got.
i fitted xenon to my mondeo v6 but i lit up the whole damn street and streetsigns 2 miles ahead, because they were in halogen light units .
you can get the kits for £60 without the cancellors or £70 with them but you need them.
The cancellors are only £5 if your order seperate which i did .

    Thanks again guys .

I fitted my xenon kit today it was really simple didnt remove any thing the only tricky bit was getting the clip on the xenon bulb so it fits back in the lens ,managed to do it had to trim and solder the wires to get the clip on ,bout an hours work ,ballasts one in the battery box and the other inside wing cable tied but secure.
Massive improvement with the light a much needed mod for my vectra .

i was tempted to remove the bumper/headlamp unit but i read a few posts about needing your lamps realligned after removal ,so i chose the fiddly option.
