    Vehicle : Saab

    Trim : 9-3 Vert

    Engine : 2.0

    Year : 2000

    Default BSR or Bluefin

Which would you go for and why?

Asking more out of curiosity then anything else.

Particulary interested in the 2.8 but all opinions are of interest.

    Cheers as always

Having been the owner and user of a BSR PPC for the past 3 years I'd Highly recommend that you buy a Bluefin due to BSR support being pretty worthless, also be aware that if you intend to keep the car for any length of time you will loose support from BSR and be expected to pay around £80 per year if you need support ie if your car has a new ecu update or an update..

I'd also look at EDS maps as they also do a handheld unit for programming yourself..

    Cheers Pete very helpful.

Was also looking at maptun. Will be sometime before I do anything, but thought I would see what was out there.

Bluefin for me Steven, Maptun are just shy of £600 and its not plug and play like the others. Also the maps are designed for Saab and allthough they are identical engines they have not done a map on a 2.8T vec as yet (I looked into it before purchasing my Bluefin) Plus with BSR there is no sell on value for the box at a later date. Just my opinion but Bluefin was best for me. HTH.

    Cheers

Agreed as BSR don't wanna know anything about the PPC once you've bought it..
