Bulb question
Just got a 3.0CDti and noticed that there is no illumination in the panel in the drivers door where the window switches are - same for the passenger switch. Didn't get a handbook so no idea if these can be switched off somewhere or the bulbs have blown? How easy is it to change the bulbs? Do they just pull out of the door?
Gonna check with the dealer ref the handbook but if it was missing when he got it then I guess I'll have to try Vauxhall?
The switches are illuminated by SMD LEDs soldered to the circuit boards. Its very unlikly that all have blown, so check the connection of the plugs. The switches pop out of the door cards, use a flat screw driver or plastic wedge, being careful not to damage the paint.
They aren't on a fuse of their own are they?
Don't think so mate but its worth checking the fuses anyway.
