HTC Windows Mobile Smartphones are fantastic.. In my opinion, they're so much more versatile compared to blackberries, iphones, androids, etc etc

If your using it for viewing doc's, then I'd say HTC mate, iPhones not great for that and blackberry screen is too small.
Got an iPhone my self but use it alot more for other things rather than a phone!!IPod sat nav, web browsing etc

I have a samsung galaxy s and can't fault anything about it, as for htc's - avoid the hd2 as my wifes died at 3 months old and needed a new mainboard

I have experience of a lot of smart phones. A range of Symbian Nokia's, BlackBerry and iPhone. If you do a lot of emails, avoid the iPhone and the various Android touch screen phones. They are great for many things and the iPhone reads emails vbery well, but typing is slow and not accurate on the touch screen. Many Nokia's come with a keyboard which is great for typing but Nokia phones do not display modern format intensive emails well. There is an app that does, but it tends to mess with your phones memory and it regularly requires phone reboots or it stops picking up your emails. BlackBerry phones are probably the best for email. They display the email well, and with the exception of the Storm have a keyboard so typing is also OK. Despite what someone said the Curve 8520 is a great little phone, but is the base BlackBerry. If you want a bigger screen with fancy touch features but still with the keyboard try the new BlackBerry Torch. Looks great (although being brand new I have not played with one yet).

You have to buy a 3rd party app to send MMS (picture messages) on the iPhone 3GS, don't know about the iPhone 4 (I will ask my wife who has one).
