    Default rear pads

i recently replaced the rear pads on my 06 vectra (life).and i put them on the same way the old ones were fitted. i started to get a noise from n/s/r/wheel, and thought it was the bearings . got the AA out to check them, and the guy has stated its the pads rattling as they are on the wrong way round. does the pad with the spring attached go on the inside next to the piston, or on the outside.

hmmmm the AA guy says the one with the little spring on top goes on the outside of the disc. and the other plain one goes next to piston, and the 2 little studs fit into the indents on the piston.

well i think the AA man is wrong coz i also thought the same thing that the studs on the pads go into the holes,
but there is a difference in size imo.

myelite150 you talkin about the rear pads that have the 3 rings on the back, or the ones with just a small spring on the top of them.
