    Default My ice thread

    Thought i would start a thread on my ice build.

    1st job to up-grade the speaker wires for the doors have done the back drivers door so far a few pictures.

    Interesting thread, is that the rear doors you are feeding wire through the grommet?

    Is there space to just push the wire through or did you modify the plug?

    Aye its the rear door, I had to drill a hole in the plug for the wire as my rear windows are manual i have plenty off room.

    cheers for the info as i'm away to retro fit kerb lighting and need to take a feed out of the doors

    kerb lighting? im dont take much mind, do you mean at the end of the door like some cars have the red light when door is opened, if so why can you not tap into the button lights wire save having to run a wire from the door to the cabin.

    yes, but can't tap into the button lights as they are timed and if the engine is running they wont come on

    yeah, i was hoping to find a live in the door but i don't think there is one except the button lighting one

    Take a look at Ian highlanders How 2 for rear electric windows, in the attached comments thread there is some info on the rear plug and looms. You might already have the live there all you need to do is pop the plug off and look for the pin. HTH
